For over 20 years, RMG Sports Management has been representing professional baseball players both on and off the diamond. RMG was founded by Robert M. Garber in 1990, after he became a certified agent by the Major League Baseball Association. Graduating from Wabash College in 1986, Garber continued his education at Chicago Kent College of Law, graduating in 1989, and admitted into the Illinois Bar that same year.
As an attorney with a passion for baseball, Garber began handling a diverse range of legal issues for Major League Baseball players. He has since negotiated hundreds of contracts and prepared dozens of arbitration cases. His expertise in these areas has resulted in clients earning hundreds of millions of dollars in player contracts. From marketing and endorsement opportunities, to arbitration preparation, multi-year deals and free-agency, Garber's wealth of experience within the baseball industry has allowed RMG's clients the opportunity to fulfill their goals and dreams, both on and off the field.
